Job Description
Logi Hawk Ltd is looking for reliable and motivated Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join our team in Yeovil, Somerset.
You will deliver parcels to homes and businesses across Somerset and the surrounding areas. We welcome both drivers who need a company van and owner drivers with their own van.
Full-time, part-time and weekend-only opportunities are available. Whether you are looking for regular weekday routes or work on weekends only, we would like to hear from you.
Previous courier experience is helpful but not essential. Full training and ongoing support are provided.
Pay and Vehicle Options
Company Van Drivers — £130–£160 per day
- Van and fuel provided by the company.
- You do not need your own vehicle.
- Daily rate depends on the route.
Owner Van Drivers — £180–£300 per day
- Use your own van for deliveries.
- Daily rate depends on the route.
- Vehicle requirements and fuel arrangements will be agreed before you start.
Per-parcel payment may also be available as an alternative, with rates and terms agreed before you start.
Responsibilities
- Collect and load parcels at the depot.
- Deliver parcels safely to residential and business addresses.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions.
- Use a handheld device or delivery app to scan parcels and record deliveries.
- Provide a friendly and professional service to customers.
- Load and unload parcels safely.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and keep your delivery vehicle clean and tidy.
- Follow road safety rules and company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- A valid UK driving licence held for at least 3 years
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Ability to lift and handle parcels weighing up to 25kg
- Reliability, punctuality and good organisational skills
- A responsible approach to driving and vehicle care
- Confidence working independently
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigation app
- A satisfactory DBS/background check, funded by the company
